GK wanted to know what high school cheerleaders and coaches think of GK Cheer Uniforms, so we reached out to our charismatic Account Manager, Kyle Gadke for some insight. Kyle has many years of coaching experience under his belt, and has worked with GK Cheer since 2010. Here's what he had to say...
GK: What do you like most about working with high schools?
KG: I love working with the high schools in my territory because they are just as innovative thinkers as any other client. Illinois has a HUGE eye for fashion and trends, and they appreciate the value of the "look good, feel good" mentality. As representatives of one of the most talented skill-based states for high school cheer talent in the country, they want their athletes outfitted in the best uniform they can offer. GK: What misconceptions do high school coaches have about GK uniforms?
KG: The biggest misconception I have found is that GK only sells $600 F5 Uniforms. Because of this elite image, coaches have been hesitant to request uniform designs. KG: The biggest trend in the Illinois High School market has been custom cheer leotards with incorporated mesh inserts. The cheer leo appeals to coaches because it offers complete coverage. It also fits great and allows for more creativity, better lines and an amazing visual effect.
GK: What makes GK high school uniforms stand out compared to our competitors' high school looks?
The fit and the overall quality. Customers always tell me that you can hold a GK Uniform next to ANY other vendor's uniform and our product will always stand out. GK is becoming a 'house-hold" or should I say "school-hold" name. Coaches contact me because GK is what their cheerleaders want. If you see our uniform on another team, you can't help but to be envious.
GK: What would you say to a coach who is getting ready to order new cheerleading uniforms?
KG: Shopping around is inevitable, but I challenge coaches to order a GK sample and compare it to other vendor samples. There will be no comparison in quality, fit or style.
