Five Star All Star Cheerleading of Erlanger, Kentucky recently had a very exciting delivery of sparkling new GK Cheer Uniforms for two of their competition teams.  The Superstars and the Bright Stars could hardly wait to get them on and show them off.  Five Star wanted their cheerleading uniform their way - so custom order was the way to go. 

The Superstars' cheer top is a style similar to GK's special order Exposed Back Star Crop Top U163, with a funky exposed back design and double layer star appliqués on upper arms and binding trim along neckline.  The fabrics they chose for the top are vinca mystique, black nylon/spandex, white nylon/spandex and black mesh.  Five Star is spelled out on the chest in vinca mystique and black nylon/spandex.  Superstars on the back is created with more black nylon/spandex. To finish the top, clear SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS light up the style lines and are scattered on the mesh lower sleeves.

The Bright Stars' cheer top is a custom design similar to GK's Cheer Crop Top U141 featuring a square neck banded long sleeves, open shoulders, and star appliqués on upper arms.  The same fabrics of vinca mystique, black nylon/spandex, and white nylon spandex were used set off with clear SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS.

Both teams have the same custom cheerleading skirt, similar to special order Basic Cheerleading Skirt U701L, a low rise cheerleading skirt with side slits. The skirt, made with mostly white nylon/spandex accented with vinca mystique and black nylon spandex is highlighted with clear SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS and an appliqué Five Star logo.

Bloomington United premiered new GK cheer uniforms at America's Best Championship on October 28, 2012.  The all star gym from Bloomington, Indiana outfitted all of their cheerleading teams with GK Cheer apparel.  Brandi Myers, Cheer Program Director at Bloomington United said, "If there was an award for 'Best Uniforms,' we would have definitely won that division.  We LOVE our GK cheer uniforms and have set a new trend in Bloomington.  Bloomington United - Another Year Stronger!"

Maryland Twisters Cheerleading of Glen Burnie, Maryland is home to ten all star cheerleading teams.  The Twisters are the reigning champions in Maryland and have been World Champions four times. For this season, five of their championship teams will premiere new, custom GK cheer uniforms.  Each design is unique and personal to the team who will wear it on the competition floor. GK was very excited to see their Twitter feed light up with photos of their new GK cheer uniforms fresh out of the delivery boxes.  We'll feature each design on our blog - let's start with Team Velocity and The Weather Girls.

Velocity's cheer crop top and coordinating cheerleading skirt are made with Ocean and White Mystique, Black Mesh, and Black DryTech fabrics.  Making the cheer top one of a kind is the intricate strappy back design and the inverted v on the bottom of the top that flows into and from the style lines on each sleeve. The artful "V" on the left side of the low rise cheer skirt personalizes the cheer uniform for this team.  Ocean and White Mystique fabric swirls intertwine with Brilliance SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS along each sleeve and around the signature "V".  To top it off, the neck style lines and the Black Mesh shoulders are sprinkled with more SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS. The Prodigy Allstar Cheerleading Team from Starlite Allstar Cheer & Dance Co. in La Puente, California combined GK custom design cheer tops and GK special order cheer bottoms to create a new cheer uniform for this coed team of athletes.

The women's cheer crop top and the men's cheer top are both custom designs created with Black & White DryTech accented with Berry Mystique fabric. 

Instead of the usual front chest logo, both the men's and women's cheer top have Starlite spelled out down the right sleeve using White DryTech fabric.  The women sparkle with the added brilliance of Clear SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS highlighting their Berry Mystique accents and Starlite sleeve logo.

The women's black and white cheer skirt is GK's Basic Cheer Skirt U701L, a low rise cheerleading skirt with side slits and elastic waistband.  The skirt is created with Black & White DryTech.

The men's cheer pant is GK's Basic Cheer Uniform Pant UM500 in solid black. Both the skirt and pant are embellished with the Starlite logo made of the same fabrics to perfectly coordinate with the cheer tops.

The Maryland Twisters Coed Reign Team showed off pics of their new custom GK cheer uniforms - the uniform has its own hashtag on Twitter - #collarrealness!  Reign takes trend setting up another notch with this custom creation.

The women's cheer crop top and cheer shorts are made with Ocean & White Mystique, Black Mesh, and Black Nylon/Spandex fabrics.  Scattered Brilliance SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS cover the mesh sleeves, the Ocean Mystique faux belt, style lines, and the collar of this stunningly unique cheer uniform.  The Reign logo on the front of the cheer top and and the trademark cyclone on the left hip of the cheer shorts was created with Ocean & White Mystique and more Brilliance SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS.

The Bama All Starz of the Alabama Cheer Center enter their 14th year in the sport of cheerleading this year boasting 11 teams with 170 athletes representing the Birmingham Metro area.  The Bama All Starz chose GK to create new, custom cheerleading uniforms this year and the results are amazing!

Team Love's custom v-neck cheer crop top and low rise cheer shorts are made with Black DryTech, Nylon Purple/Spandex, and White DryTech fabrics. To add some bling, the sporty style lines of the top and short are accented with Brilliance SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS.  Cheer Tyme's initials and Team Love  logo are a unique creation of Black DryTech and Kelly Green Mystique fabrics.  The initials are outlined with more Brilliance SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS.  For an extra finishing touch, Cheer Tyme is spelled out on the back waistband of their cheer short with white thread embroidery.  Now that is a custom GK cheer uniform!
